Colorado is HOT!

After enduring a good amount of turbulence that had me reaching for that handy little paper bag in the seat pocket in front of me, we arrived in Denver happily and safely this afternoon.
One step out of the airport, and we were smacked with the sweltering 99 degree Denver weather. While it is a bit easier to breath than in the oppressive DC humidity, it is still HOT and rather uncomfortable.
Ian once again unfailingly found us top notch accomodations- a trendy independent hotel called "The Timbers." We will have pictures up tomorrow, as it is dark and we are tired!
Hi guys- this is neat. I had a great time in the Denver area- Went to a cabin way up in the mtns. -quite the experience. Enjoyed looking at your pictures- think I figured out who some of the people are. Have a wonderful time and remember to drink water if the altitude gets you! Hugs- Darby
